The English are famous for their mysterious stone circles. I thought it was time to build another one. This one took me and my son 10 minutes and has loads more stones than Stonehenge. In 2000 years time they will be paying to see it!
5 weeks later: I went back to check… aaaaahhhh… it had been vandalized, see below. I blame the squirrels, although I don’t trust the hedgehogs either.

Version two: Nevermind, I will not be defeated. Here’s my new and improved stone circle – it’s definitely a 100% hedgehog proof.

This is a great kid’s activity, especially if you like going for walks. Of course you don’t have to create a stone circle, it could be anything, perhaps a structure made from sticks – just make it in a secluded area and check from time to time, taking photographs to document any changes. Let me know how you get on.

Absolutely love your blog! I stumbled upon it and I’m glad I did. Pure creation and labor of love it is…
Thank you Sharoon – I hope I’ll see you here again! Scott
Was it vandalized when you went back?
Thanks for reminding me! I’ll try and go back this weekend and check – that will be about 6 months, will be interesting to see if any stones are still in place
