I remember spending half my Summer holiday working on this drawing – well, it felt like it. I must have gone through twenty pencils. In fact, you could argue it’s more of a carbon sculpture than a drawing!

It was drawn by eye (no tracing) and was copied from a photo I found in a magazine – certainly a more pleasant alternative to the life models I was to later experience when attending art college.
